Weekday breakfast was great. Moderately busy, but the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is really good (and plentiful). A great treat for playing hookey from work.

Some of the best crab cake benedict I've ever had. The crepe was a bit too sweet - I wish they didn't put the caramel syrup on it. The coffee was very good. The atmosphere was relaxed (we actually sat outside). And the service was great. I'll definitely come back.

I celebrated my nomination last night in this excellent restaurant. happy to tell that we passed a terrific evening and the restaurant was no doubt one of the reasons for that outstanding celebration. Best breakfast anywhere! I have been going here for many years, and it's as good as it's always been. Portions are big and the service is friendly. I still have never found linguisa as good as theirs.

This was my first visit here. I was meeting a friend for lunch and to catch up. The service was very efficient with everyone we encountered seeming to appreciate our being there. I ordered the classic Reuben and noted they also offer a New York Reuben. The difference was corned beef instead of pastrami and the addition of 1000 Island dressing on the NY version. The sandwich was very good and the taco salad my friend ordered was reported to be good too. This is a small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is limited parking so you may need to park a ways down the street and walk but it is worth it.

This is the possibly the best diner I’ve EVER been to. It’s no surprise that they have been around for 40+ years! The menu is diverse and the portions are massive. Even their simple classics are visually stunning and equally delicious. It’s also nice to see the familiar and friendly staff over the years.I love Lou’s restaurant, thank you for all of the great dining experiences. Opa!!!

Had a very good lunch here with the family, enormous portions and very filling. It was a sunday afternoon and very busy: we waited for 30 min on a table and initial service was slow. This picked up after we asked the hostess and the great tasting food definitely made us less hangry!

If you are looking for a BIG meal, Lou's is the place to go! Their pancakes practically roll over the edge of the plate. The food is great, the service is fast and the wait is not too long on the weekends. My ONLY complaint about Lou's is the horrible parking.

Great spot in Los Gatos for breakfast and lunch was in the area for work and google suggested this place to me thanks google.I ordered the steak and eggs 🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚 it looks like 6 eggs where used for my plate steak was cooked to order hashbrowns were perfectly cooked was not able to finish the coffee cake that came with my breakfast

Great local breakfast and lunch cafe. The food is always good and the portions generous. Small patio seating area in front so we take our 4 legged friend with us occasionally. Parking is limited.

Always friendly smiling staff with quick attentive service. Its the only place we go for breakfast. The California Benedict is delicious with fresh avocado. the Bloody Mary's and mimosas are made well and usually pretty strong. It's a small and cozy restaurant that can accommodate large parties, 8-10 people or you can sit at the counter to get a quick cup of coffee and breakfast.

Best breakfast in the city. I know people adore LG Cafe, but Lou's has my vote each time. I've been going here since I was a child when my grandma would take me school on a late beginning. I believe that it's just gotten better with time.

This place is nice and homely. The food is great! We tried their coffee cake and corn beef hash. We live 8 miles away, but the breakfast was worth it! Only thing I would advise is that you should ask for no straw when you order drinks.

Our go to weekend breakfast. Large hearty portions allows you to skip lunch with enough energy to enjoy the day. Always satisfied. GREAT selection of hot sauces, a small detail that puts it at another level. Sometimes just Tobasco isn’t enough. Easy seating before 9am.

Lou's is a local favorite that I have enjoyed for years. When I come back to visit friends, Lou's is a must stop and eat destination. For those that enjoy a spicy bloody Mary, definitely order one.

This was our first time here. I don't just give 5 stars to any place, but as soon as I saw the pepper plant on the table, I knew they had potential. They also earned points by letting me get a table and wait for my wife 40 minutes. This place was packed, and Tiny, so letting me wait was special. I ordered the breakfast enchilada and she ordered the tuna melt. One bite into the enchilada and I knew this was going to be a five-star day. It was very tasty. Chorizo and eggs In an enchilada. Yum! Her tuna melt came with bacon and avocado. More yum! There isn't much parking in the parking lot, so be prepared to park on the street and walk about a block. It is well worth it. I can't wait to come back and I hope they have the pork chop and eggs special. By the way, they do take credit cards now.

This place from the outside doesn't look so pleasing...but once you are inside, it's FULL of people because the food and price is anazing! I have been here frequently to where the staff recognizes me. The food is delicious and portioned pretty big. I love this place for breakfast the most.

20 year customer. Go, they'll treat you well, make sure to check the Special's board before you order. Best tuna melt. On rye. This is the equivalent of an East coast diner (I say that in a good way.)

This place is your no-frills typical breakfast diner spot. Think Tex-Mex breakfast, chicken fried steak, and pancakes/French Toast as well hash browns and coffee cake on the side. I came here because I was craving breakfast after meeting with a client in the area. After looking over the menu over bottomless coffee, I ordered the breakfast enchiladas with refried beans and hash browns. I left the place feeling extremely full and satisfied. Again, if you are just looking for your simple breakfast diner spot and are not in the mood for Denny's or Ihop, then come to this place.
